White tees are the staple clothing item in our household so they get quite a bit of wear. They're simple, fashionable and comfy. But one highly negative aspect of the white shirt is [[bum bum bum...]] the armpit stain! Previously, if a shirt got too disgusting, [[which, with our frequent wear, was rather quickly]] we would toss it out and swap in a new one. As you can see, this becomes quite the expensive habit. I was in desperate need to find a solution.
I came across a 'recipe' [[if you call it that?]] for a paste made up of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide that supposedly blasted out the stain. So what could I do but try it?
Here is that journey:
|
Before. |
|
Mix Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide to form a paste [[just eyeball it]]. |
|
Apply paste to desired area.
Soak in a bucket of hot water for 30 minutes-1 hour.
Wash as normal. |
|
After. |
Try this out and let me know how it works out for you!
